Marble Blast Ultra

In single player you guide your marble through the level through various obstacles until you reach the finish. Sometimes you have to collect gems before you finish. The gameplay is simple yet fun. You use the left joystick to move the marble and the right joystick to control the camera. Left trigger jumps and right trigger is used for powerups. There are several different powerups such as super jump and mega marble that you will need to use to pass some levels. There is a ultra blast meter that slowly recharges over time. The left shoulder button uses your blast. You can use the blast to blast away other marbles in multiplayer or get extra air when you jump. There are 60 levels in single player divided into beginner, advanced and expert categories. Expert courses are very challenging and will take you quite a while to complete. They are similar to the hardest courses in super monkey ball. There are online leaderboards for every course and it is a lot of fun competing with you friends and others to get to the top of the leaderboards.

Geometry Wars Evolved

Geometry wars is a relatively simple yet fun game. It plays with a top down view similar to asteroids. You move your ship around with the left stick and shoot in any direction with the right thumbstick. You also have a limited number of bombs you use with the trigger. A variety of different geometry appear and if they hit you you die. Some just fly randomly while others try to chase you and even dodge your bullets. There are also other crazy geometry such as black holes. The graphics are just amazing, they have a bigger wow effect than most of the store bought xbox 360 games. While the gameplay is very good it gets repetitive. There is only one game mode that just gets harder the farther you go on. It is an awesome game to play in short sessions.

Hexic HD

Hexic HD a good puzzle game. You rotate colored pieces to form clusters and move pieces fall from the top. There are different patterns you can make to get more points and special pieces. It is a fun game and a good challenge for your brain. The graphics are alright. They serve their purpose and look nice in HD but aren't any thing special. There are 3 gametypes you can play and they all have online leaderboards. If you are into puzzle games you can easily find yourself playing this for hours at a time. It is one of the better puzzle games out there but comes no where close to a legend like Puyo Puyo.
